Medication Aide Program

This is a 140 clock hour course.

You must be 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.

If you completed your high school training in another country the education must be verified by an approved agency before entering into the program.

You must be currently working in a nursing home or assisted living on the first day of class as a CNA.

You must have an administrator or director of nurses who is willing to allow you to pass medications under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse (RN/LVN) for at least 10 hours.
