Upon completion of this seminar, students will have enhanced their knowledge of preparing medications to be dispensed with a registered pharmacist’s approval, a review of the ten body systems and some medications that are used in the body systems, adverse reactions to medications, preventing infections, customer service, cultural diversity, and documentation skills. This seminar is useful for healthcare workers in acute, outpatient, long-term care, or clinical settings. Students who successfully complete this seminar will be prepared to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam, a nationally accredited exam.
