This continuing education seminar reviews the current medication aide rules and curriculum in Texas. Upon completion of this course, students will have enhanced their knowledge of the authorized and unauthorized functions of medication aides, reviewed the requirements for supervising medications, and reviewed changes to Texas rules concerning certified medication aides. This seminar is useful for medication aides planning to renew their certification.
Note: THHS recommends taking the medication aide 7-hour seminar 90 days before permit expiration. Please make sure your TULIP account is up to date before registering for this seminar.
